The Times of Israel, the largest English-language Israeli news source, published an interview with me on my new book, The Islamic Moses. Penned by Zack Rothbart, the interview also shares a short review of the book and my approach to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict under a fitting title, “This Muslim Scholar Wants to Revive the ‘Judeo-Islamic Tradition,’ Starting with Moses.” It reads:

The Times of Israel asked Akyol about the impetus for examining the Islamic Moses, what most surprised him during the course of his research, and what relevance he sees in the Judeo-Islamic tradition in today’s post–October 7 reality.
